APPLICATIONS:

1. PHARMACEUTICALS:

In the pharmaceutical industry, bentonite is widely used as an excipient in oral and topical formulations. It is utilized as a                  suspending agent, binder, disintegrant, and thickener in various dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, suspensions, and gels.         Bentonite helps to improve the stability, viscosity, and rheological properties of pharmaceutical formulations. It is also used in        wound dressings and dermatological preparations for its adsorbent and healing properties.

2. COSMETICS:

Bentonite is commonly used in cosmetic formulations for its absorbent, adsorbent, and thickening properties. It is added to             skincare products such as masks, cleansers, and creams to absorb excess oil, impurities, and toxins from the skin, leaving it            feeling smooth and refreshed. Bentonite also helps to improve the texture, consistency, and stability of cosmetic formulations.

3. DISINFECTANT:

In disinfectant formulations, bentonite is used as a stabilizer, thickener, and rheology modifier. It helps to improve the viscosity          and stability of disinfectant solutions, allowing for better adherence to surfaces and prolonged contact time, thus enhancing            overall disinfection performance.
