Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) is a naturally occurring mineral that is commonly used as a white pigment in various industries, including pharmaceuticals.

APPLICATIONS:

1. PHARMACEUTICALS:
    Colorant: Titanium dioxide is used as a colorant in pharmaceutical formulations to provide opacity and brightness to tablets,         capsules, ointments, and syrups.

   Coating Agent: Titanium dioxide is used as a coating agent for tablets and capsules to improve their appearance, protect the         active ingredients from degradation due to light, moisture, and oxygen, and to mask the taste or odor of the active ingredients.

2. COSMETICS AND PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS:

    Titanium dioxide is used as a white pigment in cosmetics and personal care products such as sunscreens, makeup, lotions, and          creams. It provides opacity, UV protection, and coverage.
