TRI CALCIUM PHOSPHATE (TCP)

Tricalcium Phosphate (TCP) is a calcium salt of phosphoric acid. It is a white, odorless powder that is commonly found in rocks and minerals.

APPLICATIONS:


1. FOOD INDUSTRY:
    Tricalcium phosphate is used as a food additive (E341) in the food industry. It is used as an anticaking agent, a nutritional                 supplement, and a calcium fortifier in various food products such as powdered spices, flour, baked goods, and dairy products.

   

2. PHARMACEUTICALS:
    In pharmaceuticals, tricalcium phosphate is used as a source of calcium in dietary supplements and vitamin tablets. It is also          used as a filler, binder, and diluent in tablet and capsule formulations to give them the required bulk and stability. Additionally, it      is used as a polishing agent in toothpaste and in oral care products for its abrasive properties.
