Xanthan Gum is a polysaccharide produced by the bacterium Xanthomonas campestris through fermentation of glucose or sucrose. It is widely used in various industries due to its unique rheological properties and stabilizing effects.

GRADE: ZIBOXAN PM 200 BP / USP

APPLICATIONS:

1. PHARMACEUTICALS:

In the pharmaceutical industry, xanthan gum is commonly used as a stabilizer, thickener, and suspending agent in liquid or               semisolid dosage forms. It is utilized in oral suspensions, tablets, and controlled-release formulations to improve product                 consistency, enhance texture, and prolong drug release.

2. FOOD APPLICATIONS:

Xanthan gum is extensively used in the food industry as a thickening, stabilizing, and emulsifying agent. It is added to a wide            range of food products, including sauces, dressings, dairy products, beverages, bakery items, and gluten-free products, to                improve texture, increase viscosity, and prevent ingredient separation.

3. DISINFECTANT:
In disinfectant formulations, xanthan gum is used as a stabilizer and thickening agent to improve product viscosity and                      consistency. It helps to enhance the effectiveness and stability of disinfectant solutions, allowing for better adherence to                  surfaces and prolonged contact time, thus improving overall disinfection performance.
